WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical & Mechanical Technician to maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring reliable operations and minimising downtime.

The role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and collaboration with engineers and production teams. Fresh graduates are welcome. A 5 days work week with strong welfare provisions (AWS, Bonus, Allowances, Company Transport) is offered.

Qualifications

• ITE/NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance in manufacturing/industrial environments is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Able to troubleshoot equipment and perform basic RCA.
• Basic documentation and report-writing skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, proactive and eager to learn.
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on maintenance work.
• Senior Technician consideration for strong technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and perform basic root cause analysis (RCA).
• Carry out equipment installation, replacement, dismantling and servicing.
• Perform calibration and validation when required.
• Respond to maintenance requests within required timeframes.
• Ensure equipment is safe and ready for operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Coordinate with external contractors during maintenance.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and conduct stock checks.
• Support continuous improvement to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Follow workplace safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Carry out 5S housekeeping and participate in safety inspections.

About the Role

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults, breakdowns and perform basic root cause analysis (RCA).
• Carry out equipment installation, replacement, dismantling and servicing.
• Perform equipment calibration and validation when required.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete tasks within the required timeframe.
• Ensure all equipment is safe and ready for operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Coordinate with external contractors during maintenance and servicing work.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and conduct stock checks.
• Support continuous improvement activities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Follow all workplace safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Carry out daily 5S housekeeping and participate in safety inspections, near-miss reporting and improvement activities.
• Work closely with engineers, supervisors, production teams and other technicians to ensure smooth plant operations.
