Job summary

KATOEN NATIE SINGAPORE (JURONG) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging and conveying equipment at the Singapore facility.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults and respond to breakdowns to keep operations running smoothly. With 2–3 years in heavy industry and a Diploma/NITEC in mechatronics or electrical engineering, you will work a 12-hour rotating shift pattern, documenting all service

Qualifications

• Diploma, NITEC, NTC-2 or ITC Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Equipment knowledge - Bagging/packaging/conveyor system.
• Knowledge of PLC and electrical control systems.
• Min. 2-3 years' experience in heavy industry.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair on packaging and conveying equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and recover equipment to operation.
• Reduce downtime and improve equipment performance through quality maintenance.
• Record all works accurately and address facilities-related matters.

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair works on packaging and conveying equipment.


• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system faults on equipment.


• Respond to breakdowns and recover operational equipment.


• Reduce equipment downtime and enhance equipment performance through quality maintenance works.


• Proper and accurate recording of works carried out on equipment.


• Carry out and rectify facilities related matter.

Job requirements

• Possess Diploma, NITEC, NTC-2 or ITC Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering is preferred.


• Equipment knowledge - Bagging /packaging/conveyor system


• General knowledge on AC drives and electrical motors, pneumatic cylinders and roller/chain conveyors


• Knowledge of PLC, control circuits and electrical system


• Min. 2-3 years' relevant experience in heavy industry sector.


• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.


• Experience in Bagging line would be advantage.
