Job summary

SOON XING ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a field technician to install, repair and maintain technology-based equipment on site. You will perform routine checks, troubleshoot issues and provide hands-on support to clients to keep systems running smoothly.

You will record incidents, liaise with team and stakeholders in layman's terms, and stay abreast of technical developments and advancements in allied fields. The role follows a 5.5-day work week with early start times.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ability to install, repair and maintain technology-based equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for hardware and software issues.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in simple terms to clients and team members.

• Engage in the installation, repair and maintenance ofvarioustechnology-base equipment.

• Carry out diagnostic tests and analyses to identify therootsof technical issues.

• Liaise with team members and communicate with stakeholdersinlayman's terms to assess needs and system requirements.

• Record and document instances of hardware failure,repair,installation and removal.

• Stay up to date with technical developments andadvancementsin allied fields.
