Job summary

EXENTEC SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on operator to monitor SCADA systems, perform chemical handling, and carry out preventive maintenance to support smooth plant operations.

You will manage chemical waste disposal, uphold safety and housekeeping standards, and follow SOPs to ensure compliance and operational continuity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English to communicate within the team and with management.
• Able to perform shift duties as required to support continuous operations.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exhibit discipline, integrity, and teamwork to contribute positively to the work environment.
• Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent in chemical or mechanical process to understand technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SCADA systems and respond promptly to alarms with basic troubleshooting to maintain system stability.
• Conduct routine system checks and monitor operational parameters to ensure consistent performance.
• Change out chemical drums, totes, and ISO tankers according to SOP to maintain supply continuity.
• Mix chemicals accurately following SOP to support process requirements.
• Collect chemical samples as per SOP for quality and safety verification.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to reduce equipment downtime.
• Manage chemical waste by ensuring proper collection, segregation, and disposal in compliance with environmental standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all rooms and chemical systems to support a safe work environment.
• Follow site safety protocols, work procedures, and SOPs to ensure personal and team safety.
• Complete assigned ad-hoc duties from management efficiently and safely.
