Job summary

REC is seeking a hands-on System Engineer/Senior Engineer to maintain gas and chemical systems across our semiconductor/manufacturing site in Singapore. You will lead the TGCM team, oversee safety case compliance and drive reliability and cost improvements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain gas, chemical and life safety systems for the entire site with the TGCM team.
• Monitor KPI meetings and ensure safe inventory, delivery and storage across the site.
• Oversee vendors to ensure compliance with PM plans.
• Lead projects involving gas and chemical systems, including dismantling and expansion.
• Ensure HSE compliance and keep documentation up to date.
• Attend site meetings and produce regular reports.
• Perform cost efficiency and reliability improvements for gas/chemical/LSS systems.
• Manage facilities expansion and improvement projects.
• Assist in feasibility studies for new gas or chemical sources.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.

We are looking for a highly motivated, hands‑on system Engineer / Senior Engineer who will be responsible for the Gas and chemical systems, including participating in the MOM Safety Case

• Maintain gas, chemical and life safety systems (LSS) for the entire site (2A, 1D, 2F, H2 bunker), with the help of TGCM (Total Gas & Chemical Management) team.
• Conduct monthly meetings to review key KPIs with TGCM team, and ensure that the inventory, delivery, storage of gas and chemicals are optimal and with no interruption across the entire site.
• Monitor & supervise vendors to ensure compliance of work in accordance with the PM plan.
• Take charge of projects involving chemical and gas systems, including dismantling, A&A and expansion activities.
• Responsible and oversee the general operations and maintenance of gas, chemical and LSS systems for entire site, including gas farm.
• Conduct site inspections and attend site meetings to ensure high quality standard of work and timely delivery of gas and chemicals in accordance to schedule.
• Responsible for general on-site technical & engineering matters relating to gas and chemical systems.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence.
• Attend daily tool meeting and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Develop and review programs to achieve cost efficiency, system reliability and improvement in running the gas, chemical and LSS systems, so as to prevent incidents and achieve cost savings.
• Ensure optimal plant performance and reliability, and ensure compliance to HSE rules, local regulations, legal and other requirements, including ensuring that the documents of gas & chemical systems are kept up to date, MOM Safety Case follow up and participate in all audits that may involve chemical and gas systems.
• Manage and execute facilities expansion and improvement projects.
• Assess and evaluate feasibility studies pertaining to qualification of new gas or chemical source.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by reporting Manager

Qualifications

• At least 5 years relevant experience in Gas and Chemical Systems
• Prefer Degree in Chemical Engineering
