Job summary

MAZU RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is recruiting on behalf of a leading shipping company for an experienced Technical Superintendent to join their shore-based team.

The role provides oversight across a mixed fleet and requires close collaboration with vessel crews, Masters and Chief Engineers to maintain high standards of reliability, safety and compliance. The successful candidate will take responsibility for technical management, monitor vessel performance, plan dry-dockings and manage budgets.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Competency Class 1 or 2 (Chief Engineer) is required.
• Experience across tankers is highly desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge of vessel machinery, maintenance and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing dry-dockings, repairs, surveys and technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the technical management and performance of assigned vessels.
• Provide technical support and guidance to Masters and Chief Engineers.
• Monitor vessel condition, maintenance and machinery performance.
• Plan and oversee dry-dockings, repairs, maintenance and surveys.
