Job summary

MIT Semiconductor Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on technician to assemble and checkout production equipment modules, ensuring quality through final integration and tests.

The role requires reading electro-mechanical drawings, setting up equipment, and supporting engineers to improve assembly efficiency. A minimum 2 years in machine production or assembly is expected, with preference for semiconductor or automation backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC or Diploma level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to read electro-mechanical drawings.
• Minimum 2 years experience in machine production / assembly environment.
• Preferably from semiconductor / general automation background.

Responsibilities

• Set-up production equipment and run final integration and test
• Assemble production equipment based on manufacturing work instructions, mechanical drawings (or/and electrical wiring /wire harnessing based on circuitry blueprints and work instructions)
• Perform final test to qualify equipment performance before customer buy-off.
• Assist the Manufacturing Engineers in trouble shooting and improving on assembly efficiency to reduce cost
• Carry out good housekeeping and work safety instructions
