Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a full-time mechanical assembly technician in Singapore.

Monday to Friday, no shift, with a basic salary of SGD 2,000–2,600. You will assemble and modify machines, read drawings, and perform QC checks, with opportunities to weld and assess mechanical and electrical components at customer sites. Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering.
• At least 2 years in machines assembly.
• Able to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Knowledge of gas and electric welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform machines assembly and modification, debug and test run as per specs and drawings.
• Cut PP and Aluminum profile based on mechanical drawings.
• Weld PP parts per required specs, especially tank welding.
• Set up and calibrate machines to meet specs.
• Conduct QC checks on mechanical parts and electrical components.
• Install, test and commission new machines at customer sites.
• Assist Engineers in troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
• Support R&D in developing new machines.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe workshop environment.
• Handle other technical tasks as assigned by Management.
• Reading mechanical/electrical drawings is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform machines assembly and modification, debug and test run according to required specifications, drawings and work instructions
• Able to perform PP and Aluminum profile cutting base on the released Mechanical drawing.
• Able to perform PP welding base on the required specification especially on Tank welding.
• Set up and calibrate machines to meet desired specifications
• Conduct QC checks on mechanical parts and electrical components
• Install, test and commission new machines at customers’ sites
• Assist Engineers in problem-solving, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair
• Support Engineers in R&D activities to develop new machines
• Ensure good housekeeping and safe working environment in assembly workshop
• Perform other technical tasks as assigned by Management
• Able to read mechanical /electrical drawings is an added advantage
• Perform 6S + Housekeeping in working area or production floor.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in any Engineering discipline
• Preferably with minimum 2 years’ working experience in machines assembly
• Able to work overtime and weekends when required
• Preferably know and have knowledge or experience in Gas and electric welding.
