Job summary

Teradyne in Woodlands, Singapore, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and maintain automated test equipment. You will work on mechanical, electrical, and electronic subsystems, applying AI/Excel data analysis and turning insights into improvements, with day/night 12-hour shifts and international travel.

You should have a Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics, 0–10 years in automation, strong problem solving, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mechatronic fundamentals.
• 60%: Solid knowledge of mechanical principles such as bearings, gearboxes, actuators, and pneumatic systems.
• 20%: knowledge of electrical fundamentals, including AC/DC principles, power distribution, protective devices, and grounding
• 20%: Knowledge of electronics fundamentals, including sensors, transducers, and analog/digital signals.
• Ability to use AI tools (preferably Microsoft solutions) or excel to analyze the data.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Solid presentation skills and effective communication in English.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively as part of a team to achieve objectives.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
• Operate process equipment, instrumentation and other equipment related to the production according to the work instructions.
• Be able to work rotating day and night shift (12-hours) with OT
