Job summary

Teradyne in Science Park, SG, is seeking a Test Application Engineer to join the SEG Field Applications Group. You will develop test solutions for semiconductor devices on Teradyne ATE platforms and provide on-site support to customers, coordinating closely with global teams to ensure milestones are met.

Successful candidates will have 7–10 years of test engineering experience, a degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, and hands-on programming with Teradyne or other ATE platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum criteria include a degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering and 7–10 years in test/product engineering for digital high power devices.
• Experience with Teradyne or other ATE platforms and programming on Teradyne ATE is preferred.
• Proficiency in C# .NET or VBA and strong written/verbal English communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and adapt to a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions for semiconductor devices on Teradyne ATE platforms.
• Support test program correlations and release-to-production activities.
• Optimize existing test solutions for yield and throughput.
• Troubleshoot test issues and improve methodologies.
• Provide on-site customer support using Teradyne ATE.
• Gather customer needs and coordinate with internal teams for new solutions.
• Coordinate with worldwide application teams to meet milestones and on-time delivery.

Our Teradyne Solutions Engineering Group (SEG) Field Applications team is looking for a highly motivated Test Application Engineer who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently and develop test applications solutions for our customers.

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• 7-10 years of test/product engineering experience in digital, high power device testing and with at least 5yrs test development background preferred.
• Programming experience on Teradyne or other ATE platforms. Experience on UltraFLEX or UltraFLEXPlus is a plus.
• Being proficient in C# .NET or VBA is an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language.
• Willing to travel 30% of time when required to.
• Able to handle dynamic work environment with pressure and quick changes.
