Job summary
Eastern Pacific Shipping PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Fleet Superintendent to ensure vessels meet Class/Flag State and Major Oil Company standards for sea-worthiness and commercial deployment.
The role covers planning surveys, supervising repairs, and coordinating drydocking while overseeing costs and KPI performance across the fleet. You will address NCRs, review specifications for new vessels or conversions, and mentor senior officers on safety and cost leadership in a high-demand,
Qualifications
- Crucial: Certificate of Competency (Class I) / Chief Engineer Foreign Going.
- Must have relevant tanker/ship supervision experience.
- Experience managing ship technical teams and inspections.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Class and Flag State survey requirements are fulfilled.
- Plan maintenance, manage PMS/Worklists, and monitor vessel repairs.
- Coordinate drydocking planning, costing and supervision.
- Evaluate store requisitions and approve spare parts.
- Monitor running/drydock costs, bunkers and lube oil consumption, and KPI performance.
- Address NCRs with focus on Class/Charterer requirements, and support vessel acquisitions or handovers.
- Coach and develop Master/Engineers and oversee welfare with Fleet Personnel Department.
