Eastern Pacific Shipping Pte. Ltd. seeks a Superintendent of Operations to steer marine activities, ensuring safe and efficient cargo carriage and environmental stewardship.

You’ll bridge shore-side strategy with vessel execution, leading a team of executives and upholding health, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will monitor voyage progress, advise Masters for terminal inspections, negotiate port costs, and coordinate with the chartering desk to provide accurate data for operations.

Competenze

• Certificate of Competency Master Class 1 required.
• Minimum 6 months command experience on relevant vessel types; or 3 years Chief Mate or 2 years shore-based Superintendent.
• Experience in incident investigations and detailed reporting.
• Strong SIRE and navigation audits experience.
• Advanced negotiation for agency and port disbursements.
• Knowledge of international marine rules, terminal regulations, and port requirements.
• Experience with Capesize/Newcastlemax, VLOC or Panamax beneficial.

• Manage marine operations to ensure safe cargo carriage under charter terms.
• Advise Masters in terminal inspections preparation.
• Monitor voyage progress, weather routing, and bunker consumption.
• Review port information and communicate data to vessels.
• Negotiate with agents for proforma disbursements and port costs.
• Review load/discharge plans for spot/time-chartered vessels.
• Coordinate with chartering desk for data requests and bunker needs.
• Conduct operations briefings for Senior Officers and address NCR gaps.
• Lead and coach Senior Executives and Executives in operations.
• Coordinate health, safety, and environmental initiatives per SQV.
