TALENT-MERGE PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Technical Superintendent/Chief Engineer to lead the technical operations of our oil tanker fleet.

The role emphasizes reliable vessel performance, regulatory compliance, and cost-conscious maintenance management. You will coordinate maintenance, plan dry-docking, supervise inspections, and work closely with crews, shipyards, and vendors to keep ships safe, efficient, and ready for service.

Competenze

Seagoing tanker experience as Chief or Second Engineer, or 2+ years as Technical Superintendent handling oil/bunker tankers.
Knowledge of PMS, dry-docking procedures and maritime regulatory standards.
Experience in budget management and maintenance planning.
Strong leadership and English communication skills in professional settings.
Ability to coordinate with crews, shipyards and external service providers.

Mansioni

Oversee technical operations of assigned oil tankers to ensure performance and efficiency.
Monitor vessel conditions and ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintain vessel certifications and technical documentation.
Coordinate PMS execution to minimize downtime.
Organise classification and statutory inspections.
Plan dry-docking, repairs and maintenance projects.
Evaluate machinery performance and recommend improvements.
Guide onboard crew performance and safety awareness.
Develop and monitor vessel technical budgets.
Collaborate with crews, management, shipyards and service providers.
