Job summary

ST Recruitment Centre in Singapore seeks a technical service professional to conduct electroplating and surface treatment experiments, and to demonstrate process capability to customers. You will operate laboratory instruments such as SEM-EDX, GC-MS, ICP-MS and XRF, analyze data, and provide on-site support for new installations.

Travel to Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia 1–2 times per month is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in surface treatments for Electronics or Semiconductor industries is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia 1–2 times per month.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electroplating and surface treatment experiments to demonstrate process capability to customers.
• Operate and analyze data from laboratory equipment (SEM-EDX, GC-MS, ICP-MS, XRF, Karl Fischer, particle counters).
• Provide on-site technical support for new chemical and equipment installations.
• Investigate customer quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Deliver technical presentations and product training to customers.
• Troubleshoot process parameters to optimize performance and reliability.
• Prepare and maintain SDS and Technical Data Sheets (TDS).
• Support Account Managers with technical input for customer proposals and commercial discussions.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits and technical activities.
• Assist with commercial and customer support activities as required.
