Job summary

Dyson Institute is seeking a Security Systems Project Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of physical and technical security projects across sites. You will oversee access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and integrated platforms, coordinating with Security, IT, Facilities, and external suppliers to ensure designs are secure, tested, and compliant.

You will manage project scopes, budgets, and timelines, ensuring handover with documented warranties, training, and asset records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering security systems projects in corporate, manufacturing, logistics, or multi-site environments.
• Strong understanding of access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, VMS, and visitor management.
• Ability to translate security requirements into deliverable technical solutions.
• Experience navigating governance, procurement, safety, and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of security projects from initiation to handover and benefits realisation.
• Manage scopes, schedules, budgets, risks, and reporting; lead installation, testing, and handover of systems.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery and compliance.
• Develop business cases and investment proposals; maintain programme roadmaps and governance.
• Provide technical assurance across design, installation, and commissioning; drive lessons learned.
