Job summary

GAINTECH INDUSTRIES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Sales Executive to drive and manage the sale of flexible seals, gaskets and extruded profiles to industrial and commercial customers.

You will work closely with customers to understand their applications and requirements, coordinate with production and technical teams, and propose sealing solutions. The role emphasizes opportunity development and long-term manufacturing business creation.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B industrial sales or technical sales preferred.
• Experience selling rubber products, seals, gaskets, extruded profiles or industrial components advantageous.
• Able to read and understand basic technical drawings and dimensions.
• Having your own vehicle is a bonus.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Able to work independently while coordinating with Production and Engineering.
• Diploma or relevant technical/business qualification preferred.
• Candidates with strong industry experience considered regardless of academic qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and business opportunities for flexible seals, gaskets and extruded profiles.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Identify potential customers in industries needing sealing solutions.
• Understand customer applications and recommend profile designs, materials and manufacturing solutions.
• Handle customer enquiries, drawings, RFQs and quotations.
• Follow up quotations and negotiate pricing, quantities, tooling and delivery.
• Coordinate with Production and Engineering on custom-made profiles and new product development.
• Arrange samples, prototypes and trial production for new projects.
• Convert development projects into regular production orders.
• Monitor orders, forecasts and delivery requirements.
• Conduct customer visits and provide basic technical support.
• Maintain sales records and opportunity pipelines.
• Monitor competitors and market developments for flexible sealing products.
• Follow up on outstanding commercial matters and customer feedback.
• Achieve agreed sales and business-development targets.
