Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Building, Construction, Architecture or a related discipline would be advantageous.
• Prior experience in technical sales, building materials or the construction industry is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant technical knowledge who are keen to develop a career in sales may also be considered.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable engaging with contractors, architects and other industry stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales activities to achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives.
• Develop new business opportunities and build a healthy pipeline of prospective clients.
• Build and maintain long-term business relationships with main contractors, architects, consultants and developers.
• Prepare and propose product specifications based on project and client requirements.
• Conduct product presentations and provide technical information to clients and key stakeholders.
• Understand customers' project requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
• Follow up on project opportunities from initial engagement through to sales conversion.
• Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective customers to strengthen business relationships.
• Keep updated on market developments, upcoming projects and competitor activities.
