Job summary

Google in Singapore seeks a DCNet Delivery Technical Program Manager to lead complex deployment programs from start to finish, coordinating across stakeholders and ensuring delivery goals are met.

You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate tradeoffs with engineers and executives, while organizing the team and aligning with Google's business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• 3 years of experience in the telecom, networking, or data center infrastructure space.
• Experience working in complex organizational settings (e.g., shared accountability, geographic dispersion, ambiguity, PMO, etc.).
• Familiarity with data center, networking, or telecom operations.
• Strong foundational knowledge in data networking architectures and physical network components.

Responsibilities

• Manage network infrastructure capacity delivery programs. Solve technical issues revolving around network port capacity, physical cabling installation, network equipment capacity, project scheduling, and logistics.
• Bring technical experts together to communicate and help develop solutions.
• Manage and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams, including external parties/vendors.
• Identify process and communications breakdowns, while developing and driving solutions to remedy the issues. Manage process development and optimization initiatives.
• Create and maintain master schedules, BoMs and related factors.

Your objective will be to organize the overall team, establish clear roles and responsibilities, and manage a master schedule that meets Google's needs. In this role, you will bring together all the elements necessary to put a project plan together, manage objectives, and influence without authority, all while maintaining schedule velocity.
