Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the APAC Third-Party Data Center portfolio, coordinating across internal teams and external partners to deliver end-to-end data center projects. You will manage schedules, assess risks, and communicate trade-offs to executives while steering initiatives from planning through delivery.
You will collaborate with engineers, operations, and strategic negotiators to craft scalable, compliant solutions that meet regional requirements.
Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.
Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.
In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning and delivery of our APAC Third-Party Data Center (3PDC) portfolio. You will be involved in every aspect of strategic and tactical implementation of end-to-end data center delivery, and will partner with strategic negotiators, project managers, engineers, and operations teams as well as with our data center service providers, to develop creative and scalable solutions for the delivery of data centers that meet our operational requirements. You will be responsible for leading the strategic execution of the add, moves, and changes program across the APAC 3PDC portfolio, which includes capacity expansions, and infrastructure modifications driven by hardware refreshes.
