Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking a Product Manager to define vision, outcomes and roadmaps that align with government and industry needs. You will engage internal users and external stakeholders to identify priorities and translate needs into clear functional and technical requirements.

You will guide agile delivery with engineering teams, own post-go-live outcomes, and drive continuous improvements. A strong technical foundation and stakeholder management are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in software engineering, product management, digital solution ownership, or related roles.
• Strong technical foundation across architecture, integration, data and security fundamentals.
• Experience working with Agile or iterative delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, outcomes and roadmap aligned with business and industry needs.
• Engage internal users and external industry stakeholders to identify problems and priorities.
• Translate needs into clear functional and technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritise product backlog based on value, risk and technical constraints.
• Guide iterative delivery and releases with engineering teams and vendors.
• Own product post go-live, including adoption, stability and continuous improvement.
• Analyse issues, drive root cause analysis and prioritise improvements.
• Provide strong technical product leadership, including evaluating solution options and trade-offs.
• Where required, act as the product’s solution architect, defining high-level architecture, integration approach, data flows and non-functional requirements.
• Where a dedicated architect exists, partner closely to drive coherent technical decisions.

• Provide strong technical product leadership, including evaluating solution options and trade-offs

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years’ experience in software engineering, product management, digital solution ownership, business analyst or similar roles
• Strong technical foundation (architecture, integration, data, security fundamentals)
• Experience working with Agile or iterative delivery teams
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
