Job summary

GovTech, Singapore's Government Technology Agency, is seeking a product-focused technologist to drive digital public services. Define roadmaps, engage users and stakeholders, translate needs into requirements, and steer iterative delivery with engineering teams for post-launch success.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in software engineering, product management or related roles.
• Strong foundation in architecture, integration, data and security fundamentals.
• Experience working with Agile or iterative delivery teams.

What you will be working on

• Define product vision, outcomes and roadmap aligned with business and industry needs
• Engage internal users and external industry stakeholders to identify problems and priorities
• Translate needs into clear functional and technical requirements and acceptance criteria
• Prioritise product backlog based on value, risk and technical constraints
• Guide iterative delivery and releases with engineering teams and vendors
• Own product post go-live, including adoption, stability and continuous improvement
• Analyse issues, drive root cause analysis and prioritise improvements

Technical & Architecture Responsibilities

• Provide strong technical product leadership, including evaluating solution options and trade-offs
• Where required, act as the product's solution architect, defining high-level architecture, integration approach, data flows and non-functional requirements
• Where a dedicated architect exists, partner closely to drive coherent technical decisions

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years' experience in software engineering, product management, digital solution ownership, business analyst or similar roles
• Strong technical foundation (architecture, integration, data, security fundamentals)
• Experience working with Agile or iterative delivery teams
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
