Job summary

The GMP Group is seeking a diligent maintenance technician to oversee the serviceability of ICC 1 and 2 systems at our facility. The role involves repairing and troubleshooting warehouse, automation, refrigeration, kitchen and packaging equipment, as well as managing spare parts and vendor contracts.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a degree or diploma, and be capable of reading technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Competent in reading technical drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure serviceability of ICC 1 & 2 systems and equipment.
• Proficient in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of warehouse systems, material handling, automation, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, packaging and inspection machines, washing machines, and related IT devices.
• Plan and execute maintenance activities following schedules, procedures, checklists and manufacturer recommendations.
• Procure spare parts, contracts and services aligned with company policies and maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to minimize downtime and communicate effectively on issues.
• Be proactive in resolving faults and contributing to continuous improvements.
• Adhere to Safe Work Procedures and Food Safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report hazards promptly.
• Perform other duties and projects as required.

Salary:

• $2800 Basic and above, + $240 Shift Allowance + OT + Staff Transportation + 12 Days AL

Working Hours:

• Rotating Shift/ 6 days work week (Staff transportation will be provided once working beyond midnight)

Location:

Job Responsible:

• Maintaining and ensuring the serviceability of all
  systems and equipment at ICC 1 & 2.
• Be technically proficient in all aspects of maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting the full
  range of ICC systems and equipment (e.g. warehouse systems, material handling andautomation systems, refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment, packaging and - inspectionmachines, washing machines, waste management systems, etc.) and other technical relatedknowledge.
• Manage, perform and ensure all maintenance activities and repair works are timely follow-through according to the assignment, maintenance schedule, procedures, checklists,
  manufacturer recommendation and completed within the timeframe.
• Manage, perform and ensure all technical purchase requisition of spare parts, contracts andservices are in accordance to the Company policies and follow-through to support themaintenance activities.
• Manage, communicate and work professionally with all stakeholders to minimize systemsand equipment downtime.
• Be proactive in resolving technical faults, contributing initiatives and continuousimprovements.
• Always observe and follow all Safe Work Procedures and Food Safety requirements.
• Always ensure Safe Work environment by housekeeping of all work areas and report anysafety hazards immediately.
• Perform and support other relevant duties and projects assignments if required.

Requirement:

• Min 2 years of relevant work experience required.
• Education requirement: Degree or Diploma.
• Computer-literate and competent in using Microsoft office/outlook, SAP application and IT devices.
• Competent in using industrial workshop equipment and welding tools.
• Competent in reading technical drawings, documentation and conversantin communication.
• Physically fit with ability to carry heavy loads and work-at-height.
• A motivated team player with strong qualities to lead and work in a challenging environmentwith tight timeline.
• Able and willing to work in either office hours or rotating shifts, weekends and overtime ifrequired.
