SP POWERGRID LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a focused Electrical/Power Engineering technician to assist engineers with high voltage equipment maintenance, fault repairs, and liaise with authorities to execute work assignments.
You will perform site management, supervise contractors, conduct 6.6kV/22kV switching, handle alarms, plan works within budget, and prepare monthly reports. Entry level applicants are welcome with on‑the‑job training.
What You'll Do:
Assist engineers in carrying out high voltage equipment maintenance, equipment fault repairs and / or liaise with the relevant Authorities to execute work assignments
Perform site management and supervise contractors
Perform 6.6kV or low voltage switching, load transfers and safe isolation of high voltage equipment, site management and supervise contractors and staff
Attend to customers' feedbacks and / or 22kV equipment's alarm and fault
Plan and implement the various works programmes in accordance to budget provisions and schedules
Prepare and collate information for monthly reports
Ensure records are filed properly and data are updated promptly in systems
Attend to customers' complaints & feedbacks and / or equipment alarm and fault
Performstandby duty during and after office hours for network incidents
Prepare contingency plans and performs standby duty for special event
What You'll Need:
Diploma in Electrical / Power Engineering or relevant disciplines from any of the recognised Polytechnics in Singapore
Relevant working experience would be advantageous
Entry level candidates are welcome to apply (On job training will be provided)
A team player with good working attitude and basic computer knowledge
Possess own transport or driving license would be advantageous but not mandatory
