Job summary

Singapore Power Ltd is seeking a Diploma-qualified Electrical Engineer to assess service connections, perform site surveys, and design LT distribution networks for various estates. The role involves liaising with LEWs and customers to finalize requirements and assisting with load surveys.

Candidates should have strong communication, proficiency in BIM/AutoCAD and MS Office, and prefer office-based work with occasional site visits. Experience with agencies and cable routing is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Polytechnic in Singapore.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with BIM, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good initiative and meticulous.
• Prefer office work with site surveys and knowledge of cable route planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare service costing for customer's service connection.
• Travel to various site daily to carry out site surveys and check LT network loading.
• Plan and design LT distribution network for residential, commercial and industrial estates.
• Liaise with LEWs or customers to finalise service connection requirements.
• Conduct load measurement and assist Engineer/Executive Engineer in load survey work.

Job description

What You’ll Do:

1. Prepare service costing for customer’s service connection

2. Travel to various site daily to carry out site surveys and check Low Tension (LT) network loading

3. Plan and design LT distribution network for residential, commercial and industrial estates

4. Liaise with LEWs or customers to finalise service connection requirements

5. Conduct load measurement and assist Engineer/Executive Engineer in load survey work

What You’ll Need:

1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from any of the recognized Polytechnics in Singapore

2. Good oral and written communication skills

3. Good knowledge of computer software applications eg. BIM, Autocad & Microsoft Office

4. Good initiatives and meticulous

5. Prefer to work in the office environment with site surveys as and when required

6. Preferred to have experience in working with agencies, and knowledge in cable route planning and installation work
