Job description

Permanent position with a salary of up to $7,000. Location: Ang Mo Kio. Working hours: Mon - Fri, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
• Oversee all technology operations, infrastructure and evaluate them according to established goals.
• Analyse the business requirements in operation departments to determine their technology needs.
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes.
• Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.
• Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Manage all Technology project delivery in line with defined success factors and set goals.
• Drive smooth change deployment and handover to operations, driving quality and compliance.
• Update and communicate the progress of programs/projects to key stakeholders.
• Maintain and escalate project issues and risks with a plan for resolution and mitigation.
• Ensure the team members work productively and develop professionally.
• Control budget and report on expenditure.
• Prepare regular reports for the management.
• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.

Requirements

• Minimum a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience as a Technology Manager, or in a similar leadership role.
• Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
• Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
• Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strategic thinking.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
