Job summary

design link architects pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead technical reviews and multi-disciplinary coordination in Singapore.

You will review architectural drawings for accuracy, ensure code compliance, and resolve coordination issues across C&S, M&E and ID works. With 15+ years of local practice, you will mentor junior staff, support authority submissions, and contribute to building detailing and construction documentation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Singapore architectural/construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of BCA, SCDF and local building regulations.
• Experience in architectural detailing, construction drawings and multidisciplinary coordination.
• HDB, institutional or major residential project experience preferred.
• Diploma/Degree in Architecture; registration as Architect not required.
• Open to candidates from architectural consultants, main contractors or experienced RTO backgrounds.
• Must still be hands-on with AutoCAD/Revit/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Independently review architectural drawings for technical accuracy, code compliance, buildability and coordination issues.
• Check drawings against BCA, SCDF and other authority requirements.
• Review details, sections, schedules, specifications and shop drawings.
• Identify clashes or inconsistencies between Architectural, C&S, M&E and ID works.
• Conduct site inspections / site walks and identify construction, workmanship, detailing and compliance issues.
• Review site conditions against drawings and highlight discrepancies early.
• Resolve technical and construction issues together with consultants, contractors and project teams.
• Advise project teams on appropriate construction details and practical site solutions.
• Review contractor submissions, RFIs, material submissions and technical proposals where required.
• Assist with authority submissions and technical compliance checks.
• Support tender and construction documentation.
• Mentor younger architectural staff and improve the team's technical standards.
• Act as a technical reviewer / second pair of eyes for key projects before drawings are issued.
