base entertainment marina bay sub pte. ltd. is seeking a Technical Manager to implement and oversee the technical support processes for shows, coordinating with management, crews, venues and vendors to ensure all technical needs are met.

You will forecast resources and costs with the Production Director/Manager, manage scope changes, plan show operations within budget, uphold safety policies, and supervise local crews while maintaining theatre equipment and coordinating regional events.

Aufgaben

• To implement and manage technical support processes and procedures.
• To work with relevant parties to assist in the formation of a planning strategy.
• To maintain constant communication with management, crews, venue personnel and vendors to ensure proper technical needs of every show.
• To work with production’s Technical Director or Production Manager to agree technical resource required, forecast and resource costs.
• To keep track of all scope changes and ensure the change control process and technical query process are adhered to and communicated fully to all relevant parties.
• To plan and manage all aspects of show’s technical operation within the approved budget.
• To maintain and ensure that safe working practices are followed with reference to local Health & Safety Policy and Risk Assessment.
• To ensure a consistently high standard of technical support to co-producing partners, hirers and artistes.
• To lead or assist as required with pre-rigging, get-ins and get-outs.
• To supervise and direct the work of local crews, ensuring that all local crews are adequately trained and/or supervised for the work they are carrying out.
• To ensure that the BASE’s own equipment in the Theatre is properly maintained in good working order, that replacement equipment and stock is ordered as needed.
• To undertake other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required in keeping with the Technical Manager role.
• To manage the technical aspects of regional or external events as required.
