Job summary

Thales Singapore is seeking a seasoned Technical Support Engineer to help customers troubleshoot complex security products over phone or email, diagnose configurations, and resolve issues related to authentication, encryption, and integrations.

You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to the knowledge base while supporting on-call rotations and collaborating with R&D to improve product readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in a customer support role for network and data security products.
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Familiar with encryption, cryptographic keys, PKI and secure data handling.
• Knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) or Windows server environments; TCP/IP and IPv6 understanding.
• Basic programming knowledge in C/C++ and/or Java; RSA PKCS familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions and troubleshoot complex technical products by phone or email.
• Diagnose product configurations, logs, and environments; propose solutions/workarounds.
• Provide guidance on integrations with 3rd party solutions and conduct issue reproduction with engineering.
• Contribute to knowledge base and share learnings with Client Services teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and travel as required.
