Job summary

Thales Group in Singapore is seeking an IT Security Engineer I to join our security team. You will contribute to accreditation, ongoing compliance, and security management across production and IT environments.

Responsibilities include developing local security procedures, conducting internal audits, and guiding management on risks and controls. A bachelor’s in IT and 3+ years in security/audit are expected, with strong communication and reporting skills valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT or related field.
• 3+ years IT security or audit experience preferred.
• Knowledge of security standards (PCI-CP, ISO27001/14298) is advantageous.
• Strong written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve accreditation and maintain ongoing compliance with security requirements.
• Manage personnel, physical, production and logical security at site per policy.
• Develop, publish, implement and maintain local security procedures.
• Monitor internal audits and advise management on security matters.
• Lead security risk assessments and conduct awareness training.
