Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a software engineer to join a 12-month fixed-term contract in Singapore. You will develop web interfaces with React/TypeScript, build backend services with Node.js, and integrate with APIs and enterprise systems.

The role requires strong experience in React Native, databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/NoSQL), Git workflows, and AWS deployment practices. You will work in an Agile environment with UX, QA, DevOps, and product teams, contributing to CI/CD, secure

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience with full-stack duties.
• Production experience using React/TypeScript and Node.js backends.
• Hands-on React Native development or mobile delivery experience.
• Experience with Git, automated testing and CI/CD in Agile lifecycles.
• Experience deploying or supporting AWS-based apps and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web interfaces with React/TypeScript and mobile features with React Native.
• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Node.js.
• Integrate clients with APIs, third-party services and enterprise systems.
• Design data access logic; work with PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Write unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews and CI/CD.
• Containerize apps with Docker and support deployments to AWS services.
• Apply secure coding practices and assist SIT/UAT/production releases.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies with UX, QA, DevOps, product and architecture.
