Job summary

One North Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Technical Delivery Lead with 10+ years of experience to drive end-to-end technical delivery and provide engineering leadership across Java/SpringBoot-based systems.

You will design, develop, and support backend microservices powering Life Insurance Distribution channels, coordinating multi-team efforts and ensuring production readiness. Strong SAFe/Agile experience and stakeholder management are required.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering and technology delivery experience.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex technology products or projects end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, CI/CD, automated testing and engineering quality.
• Experience with Java 17+ (Java 21 preferred), SpringBoot, Spring Cloud, Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor, Webclient, Spring Security.
• Work with Reactive REST API Development, Non-Blocking & Asynchronous Programming, Reactive Exception Handling.
• Experience with Agile delivery; SAFe experience and PI Planning exposure.
• Demonstrated experience managing technical debt, code quality, production readiness, risks and cross-team dependencies.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to challenge technical decisions constructively and make pragmatic trade-offs between business needs, quality, risk and timelines.
• Experience working across multiple engineering and technology teams.

• Strong culture on Software Testing (Unit Test, TDD, BDD)
• 8+ years of BackEnd / Full Stack Development experience
• Experience and affinity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
