Job summary

Housing & Development Board invites professionals to join the Asset Management Team within the Properties & Land Group, focusing on the comprehensive management of HDB commercial properties, heartland shops, civil defence shelters, and social communal facilities across Singapore.

You will oversee technical management, renovation oversight, incident and risk management, and stakeholder engagement, coordinating with managing agents, tenants, town councils, and other stakeholders to uphold safety,

What the role is

You will be part of a dynamic Asset Management Team within the Properties & Land Group, playing a pivotal role in the comprehensive management of HDB commercial properties. These include heartland shops, civil defence shelters, and social communal facilities. Your work will directly support the upkeep and enhancement of spaces that serve communities across Singapore.

What you will be working on

• Technical Management & Maintenance
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance works at HDB premises.
  • Manage the taking over of new HDB commercial properties and provide technical advisory services.
• Project & Renovation Oversight
  • Process and evaluate renovation applications.
  • Check for compliance for renovation works against approved drawings.
  • Monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion such as PSI repairs.
• Incident & Risk Management
  • Ensure prompt incident reporting and resolution.
  • Provide technical guidance on property-related matters.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Supervise and coordinate with managing agents.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with tenants, town councils, and other stakeholders to address technical matters effectively.

What we are looking for

• Strong background in Building Management, Real Estate Management, Facilities Management, Building & Property Management, M&E Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
• Prior experience in town council and building repairs will be an advantage.
• Meticulous, independent, and service-oriented with a pleasant disposition.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Passion for delivering high-quality service in property management.
