Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore seeks a Technical Engineer to handle technical execution, configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of security system projects, ensuring compliance with standards.

You will review drawings, coordinate with teams, configure access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, and ensure smooth handover to clients. Candidates should have strong knowledge of security systems and basic networking.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of security systems.
• Experience with access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm and security management systems.
• Ability to perform system programming, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, switches, IP addressing, VLANs and basic network troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and system architecture.
• Familiarity with system integration and third-party interfaces.
• Good understanding of testing, commissioning and project handover procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment installation, system integration, testing and commissioning.
• Perform system troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and rectification for hardware, software, network and communication issues.
• Configure controllers, servers, workstations, databases, readers, cameras and other security devices.
• Conduct site surveys and assess existing system infrastructure and technical requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation including system configuration, testing & commissioning records, as-built information and operation manuals.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, vendors and specialist subcontractors on technical matters.

About the role
