in Singapore is seeking a technically skilled Security Systems Technician to perform preventive maintenance on CCTV, access control, IDS and related security infrastructure, ensuring proper documentation and backups. You will manage employee access, support security audits (ISO 28000, RBA), and contribute to security enhancement projects, including CCTV migrations and system upgrades, while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automation, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in physical security systems and equipment.
• Experience in CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and related security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities for CCTV, ACS, IDS, turnstiles, emergency exits, NVRs and security servers with proper documentation and backups.
• Manage employee access control administration including card issuance, replacement and privilege configuration.
• Support secure handling and monitoring of high-value assets via security cages, motion sensors, access keys and surveillance systems.
• Conduct physical security inspections and audits (ISO 28000, RBA) with documentation and corrective actions.
• Maintain and update security procedures and manuals to comply with corporate standards.
• Plan and execute physical security enhancement projects including CCTV migration, installation, configuration and upgrades.
• Evaluate and implement CCTV, ACS, and turnstile requests for facilities and operational areas.
• Support daily physical security operations including monitoring of surveillance systems, barriers and related infrastructure.
• Respond to security alarms and incidents, perform initial troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance with stakeholders and vendors.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities for physical security systems, including CCTV, access control systems (ACS), intrusion detection systems (IDS), turnstiles, emergency exits, network video recorders (NVR) and security servers, ensuring proper documentation and system backups.
• Manage employee access control administration, including card/badge issuance, replacement and configuration of access privileges.
• Support the secure handling and monitoring of high-value assets through the management of security cages, motion sensors, access keys and surveillance systems.
• Conduct physical security inspections and self‑assessments and support internal and external audits (e.g. ISO 28000, RBA), including documentation and corrective action follow‑up.
• Maintain and update security procedures, manuals and documentation to ensure compliance with corporate standards and proper document control practices.
• Plan and execute physical security enhancement projects, including CCTV migration, installation, configuration and system upgrades.
• Evaluate and implement requests related to CCTV, access control, and turnstile systems for facilities and operational areas.
• Support daily physical security operations, including monitoring and maintenance of surveillance systems, barriers, parking systems, network switches, and associated infrastructure.
• Respond to security alarms and incidents, perform initial troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance activities with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in physical security systems and equipment.
• Experience in CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and related security technologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
