Job summary

KLA-Tencor (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic engineering manager to lead a team delivering technical applications support for our semiconductor inspection solutions at customer wafer fabrication and packaging facilities.

You will collaborate with the Head of Product Marketing, Sales, and Applications leaders to shape strategies, influence next‑generation product features, present to management and customers, and help translate requirements into concrete product specifications.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven, team player capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in Semiconductor Wafer Packaging is advantageous.
• Managerial or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to provide technical applications support for development and implementation of KLA's state-of-the-art products at customer wafer fabrication and packaging facilities.
• Collaborate with Head of Product Marketing, HQ Product Marketing Manager, Sales, and Head of Applications to develop strategies aligning with customer needs and shaping next-generation features.
• Present on product aspects to KLA management and customer management; assist Sales in applying products to meet technical requirements.
• Investigate yield issues and provide inspection solutions; handle complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation and cross-functional communication.

• The selected manager will join a dynamic team that makes a significant impact to the company every day.

• The candidate will need to work closely with the Head of Product Marketing, HQ Product Marketing Manager, Sales, Head of Applications of the Product Divisions to develop strategies to advance the position of these products. He/she will need to understand the needs and requirements of the customer and represent the Product Divisions in devising strategies to meet customers' needs. The candidate shall be able to influence product development of next generation products and features.

• The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to provide technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA's state-of-the-art products in customer wafer fabrication and packaging facilities. This includes investigating semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and providing inspection solutions at our customer's advance manufacturing facilities.
  There will be works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation, design of experiments, and communication between customers and specialists.

• The person shall make presentations on all aspects of products to KLA management and customer management and Assists Sales manager in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer technical requirements and preparing detailed product specifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidate shows persistence and dedication to understanding and solving critical customer Problems

• Managerial or Supervisory experience will be an added advantage. The individual shall be a strong goal setter and achiever.

• Experience in Semiconductor Wafer Packaging is an advantage.
