Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Senior Technical Director, Mechanical in Singapore to lead mechanical design for data centre and mission-critical projects. You will drive technical excellence, guide multidisciplinary teams and engage with major clients to deliver high-value engineering developments.

The successful candidate will oversee the full design lifecycle from concept to commissioning, ensuring reliability, energy efficiency and compliance while mentoring teams and supporting BD activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of mechanical building services design experience.
• Proven track record leading large-scale, technically complex projects.
• PE, CEng/CPEng or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience with data centre or mission-critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for mechanical design across data centre, mission-critical and complex building projects.
• Lead the design and engineering of mechanical systems, including HVAC, cooling infrastructure, and building services.
• Oversee projects from concept and feasibility studies to detailed design, construction support and commissioning coordination.
• Ensure solutions meet reliability, redundancy, energy efficiency and regulatory requirements.
• Act as senior technical advisor to clients, developers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams to strengthen delivery standards.
• Identify opportunities for innovative, sustainable and cost-effective engineering solutions.
