Job summary

sggovterp seeks professionals to supervise technology risk management and cyber security programs for banks in Singapore. You will lead discussions with CIOs/CISOs on IT governance, risk controls and audits, and conduct both onsite and offsite reviews of control environments across large financial institutions.

The role involves assessing adequacy of technology risk management, guiding supervisory actions and coordinating with MAS on policy matters.

Qualifications

• Aptitude and strong interest in IT/cybersecurity audit and risk assessment.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Team player with ability to work across organisational lines.
• Self-starter, methodical in task execution and strong stakeholder management.
• Experience in technology risk and cybersecurity areas is advantageous for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead boardroom/C-suite conversations with banks' IT/security leadership on IT governance and cyber risk management.
• Perform onsite and offsite inspections of banks on control areas such as privileged access, SDLC, IT service and change management.
• Assess adequacy of Technology Risk Management and provide risk ratings and supervisory guidance.
• Oversee incident response, root-cause analysis, disaster recovery and business continuity for banks.
• Research emerging technology and cyber risk issues and advise MAS on policy and supervision approaches.
