Qualifications

• 2+ years in Technology Risk, IT Audit, Technology Controls, Risk Assurance, Information Security, or Governance.

• Understanding of risk management and control frameworks.
• Experience supporting technology transformation and SDLC initiatives.
• Proven ability to perform risk assessments and evaluate controls.

About the Role

Major Global Bank is seeking for a Technology Risk Managerwho will be based in Singapore and will be supporting their multi - year core banking transformation program and Global Transaction project portfolio. The client is looking for a driven individual with excellent communication skills and IT Risk experience within banking industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technology risk governance and oversight across strategic transformation and technology initiatives
• Conduct risk assessments and control reviews throughout project lifecycles
• Review and challenge risk exceptions, control gaps, and remediation plans
• Partner with technology, project, security, and business teams to identify and manage technology risks
• Ensure key risk issues are appropriately tracked, escalated, and remediated
• Support governance forums, risk committees, and stakeholder reporting
• Promote effective risk management practices across project and technology teams
• Drive continuous improvement of technology risk and governance processes

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years experience in Technology Risk, IT Audit, Technology Controls, Risk Assurance, Information Security, or Technology Governance
• Experience within banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments
• Good understanding of technology risk management and control frameworks
• Experience supporting technology transformation, application development, or SDLC-related initiatives
• Proven ability to perform risk assessments and evaluate control effectiveness
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, Audit, or a related discipline
• Good to have: Risk / Security Certification (CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP)
