Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Tech Risk & Controls Lead in Infrastructure Platforms, Cloud Foundational Services to identify and mitigate technology risks and ensure regulatory compliance across deployed regions.

You will lead a team to manage regulatory engagements, validate AI-assisted risk outputs, and partner with Product Owners, Control Managers, and Regulators to strengthen the firm’s risk posture in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, data science, or related field.
• 5+ years in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or related field with regulatory focus.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support technology risk workflows with validation.
• Ability to review AI-assisted risk summaries before use.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and financial industry regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and ability to coordinate across teams.
• Understanding of risk and controls in the firm and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, communicate, and manage technology risk with root-cause analysis.
• Leverage AI to accelerate risk evidence synthesis and draft executive-ready reporting.
• Build relationships with Cloud Foundational Services technologists and data officers for cross-functional collaboration.
• Respond to regulatory queries related to Cloud Foundational Services.
• Perform impact analysis on regulatory changes affecting public cloud.
• Coordinate with regulatory assessment teams for self-initiated assessments and certifications.
• Advise on how public cloud issues impact lines of business.
• Draft and review control procedures relevant for Cloud Foundational Services.
• Ensure alignment with firm standards and controls for Cloud.
• Monitor control effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted control testing and auditability.
