Job summary

HP in Singapore seeks a FW Technical Marketing Engineer to own end-to-end quality of firmware, software, drivers, and security stacks across the product lifecycle. The role bridges customers, support, R&D, and partners to drive issue resolution and customer satisfaction in non-hardware domains.

Responsibilities include leading quality readiness, influencing design and validation, handling escalations, and providing technical guidance to support teams, with a focus on drivers and FW/SW components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience in Firmware, Software, Drivers, Networking, or Security domains.
• Experience supporting or managing product quality, technical support, or customer escalations in a complex technical environment.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive Driver/FW quality readiness from early NPI phases to sustaining support.
• Influence design, validation scope, and qualification strategies for FW/SW deliverables.
• Ensure smooth transition from NPI to Current Products with no quality gaps.
• Lead customer escalations by isolating root causes of FW/SW/driver/network/security issues.
• Provide technical consultation to L2/ATS/Support teams on root cause and fixes.
