Job summary

HP SINGAPORE (PRIVATE) LIMITED seeks a Product Engineer to coordinate internal and outsourced partners from NPI through end-of-life. You will analyze defects, evaluate customer feedback, and propose changes to reduce defects and costs while maintaining quality.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with engineering tools, and excellent English communication. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to complex product and process improvements across global manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Typically 4–6 years experience.
Using engineering tools and software packages to test, design, and evaluate products and manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; understanding of materials and hardware design.
Excellent written and verbal communication; mastery in English and local language.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and lead internal and outsourced development and manufacturing partners across the product lifecycle.
Perform engineering analysis of defective units; evaluate feedback from customers and QA processes.
Communicate issue analyses to stakeholders and collaborate to implement cost-reducing quality improvements.
Represent the product engineering team for large, complex development projects.
Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff.
