Job summary

Capco is seeking a Tech Lead to guide design and delivery of scalable, secure technology solutions. This hands-on leadership role combines strong software engineering with data platform expertise, working across SDLC in an Agile environment.

You will lead technical design, reviews, and implementation guidance across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, balancing delivery priorities with architectural quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering or technology delivery, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on software development background with experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of modern application architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.
• Good understanding of data architecture, data modelling, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and delivery across applications, integrations, and data-driven solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, including design and code reviews, troubleshooting, and implementation guidance.
• Define and apply engineering standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices.
• Collaborate with business, product, architecture, engineering, and infrastructure teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Design and build solutions across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
• Guide application and integration design using APIs, microservices, messaging, and event-driven approaches.
• Apply strong data fundamentals including data modelling, ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and data integration.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, availability, and reliability requirements.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and constraints and drive practical resolution.
• Support Agile delivery through estimation, backlog refinement, solution clarification, and technical decision-making.
• Work with stakeholders to balance delivery priorities, technical quality, and long-term maintainability.
