Job summary

Liberty Specialty Markets is seeking a Manager/Assistant Manager (Technical Lead) for their Product System department in Singapore. This role involves leading engineering teams to develop scalable products, ensuring integration with diverse partners, and mentoring engineers. A strong background in software engineering and proven systems design is essential.

The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, drive CI/CD efforts, and ensure security and compliance standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with 2–4+ years in a technical lead or senior engineering role.
• Strong programming experience in at least one backend/front-end language.
• Proven system design skills for building scalable, distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture discussions for new features.
• Collaborate with the Regional Architecture team for target state definition.
• Manage integration with finance systems and third-party vendors.
• Mentor and grow engineers through feedback and career support.
• Ensure quality and reliability through code reviews and testing strategies.
