Job summary

Maersk is offering an internship in its LUPAC technical team in Singapore (Paya Lebar) for 6 months full-time. You will work with engineers, chemists and tribology experts, supporting project management, data analysis and stakeholder coordination across ships and shore teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, cross-functional collaboration and exposure to oil analysis, reliability improvements and category management initiatives within one of the world’s largest shipping groups.

Qualifications

• Technical background in engineering, chemistry or tribology.
• Experience in project management, planning and coordinating actions.
• Ability to collect, analyse and interpret data to support decisions.
• Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on practical cost-efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Project management, planning and co-ordination of engineering/lubrication initiatives aimed at improving vessel efficiency and reliability.
• Data analysis of key project information and production of meaningful data summaries for alignment of internal decision-makers.
• Co‑ordination and self-management of collaboration with laboratories, machinery experts and vessel crew.
• Support the development and implementation of best‑in‑class category management strategies designed to support stakeholder needs and business requirements.
• Support the development of processes, tools, and standards designed to improve reliability and ensure greater levels of consistency and simplification across the business
