Job summary

COLUMBIA SHIPMANAGEMENT (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Technical Fleet Manager to lead the Technical Department. The role requires steering activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high safety and efficiency standards across the fleet.

The nominee should demonstrate strong leadership, clear communication, and a solid grasp of marine regulations, with a proven track record in technical ship management and teamwork within a global fleet.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years with the Company as a Technical Superintendent or in a managerial position.
• Good command of the English language.
• Strong leadership, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Solid knowledge of the marine industry and applicable Rules and Regulations.
• Strong technical knowledge of ships within the fleet.

Responsibilities

• Plan and safeguard activities of the Technical Department.
• Be fully conversant with the Company’s Management System.
• Implement the Company’s Management System.
• Contribute to development or amendment of existing procedures.
• Promote continual improvement and environmental, safety and energy awareness.
