Job summary

Spring Valley Shipping Management Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Vessel Manager to oversee the technical and operational performance of its assigned vessels from the office. You will drive compliance, cost control, and efficiency while coordinating with stakeholders.

The role demands strong leadership, PMS oversight, and hands-on experience with class surveys, budgeting, and QHSE. You will work with Masters and Chief Engineers to ensure safety and reliability across fleets.

Qualifications

• Marine Engineering qualification (COC MOTOR) Class 1 or 2.
• Minimum one year experience as Chief Engineer or at least two years as a Technical Superintendent.
• Ability to manage high workloads, fast-paced environments, and irregular working hours in the global shipping industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessels comply with international and local maritime regulations.
• Monitor class survey status and coordinate surveys on time.
• Oversee vessel performance and PMS guidance.
• Conduct crew evaluations for Masters and Chief Engineers and report findings to management.
• Plan and execute vessel inspections as per SMS requirements.
• Respond to emergencies in line with Emergency Response Procedures.
