Responsibilities

• Financials
  • Support the Market Head in developing the team’s business plan and oversee the overall marketing activities.
  • Execute the team’s business plan to meet financial targets.
  • Create networking synergies with other OCBC business units.
• Clients
  • Support Relationship Managers (RMs) with business opportunities and issues.
  • Actively engage in business development and prospect new client relationships.
• Advisory Solution
  • Leverage the firm’s products and product teams to meet clients’ investment needs.
  • Ensure RMs practice BOS Advisory standards.
• Talent Management
  • Mentor RMs to enhance performance through coaching and training.
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration within the market/team and with other Team Heads.
  • Attract, retain, and develop top talent with strong entrepreneurial spirit and robust risk‑management knowledge.
• Compliance, Process, & Risk Management
  • Lead by example, taking accountability for compliance, process, and risk management.
  • Ensure team adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines, supervising day‑to‑day activities.
  • Manage credit and reputational risks proactively.
  • Set a positive risk‑awareness culture and reinforce the right risk and compliance culture.
  • Lead the team to proactively manage AML, regulatory, reputational, and credit risk as the first line of defense.
  • Ensure team participation in relevant training sessions.
  • Adhere to the Management Control Oversight Rating (MCOR) framework, including Audit Score, DCs, Reg. Breaches, ORIs, ECM, Clean Desk, and Endpoint.
  • Provide supervisory oversight on RM activity, including guidance on AML and risk policies, reviewing revenue analysis, managing credit incidents, and closing regulatory actions.
