Job summary

Comaea Consulting is seeking a Technical Superintendent for a new opportunity with a leading MNC in the shipping sector. You will manage 4–6 merchant vessels, ensuring safe operations, routine and preventive maintenance, and adherence to international marine requirements.

You will oversee inspections, dry-docking, and budget-focused resource planning, while guiding onboard crews and shore teams to optimize performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Marine Engineer with COC Class 1 (unlimited) is required.
• Sailing experience as Chief Engineer on tanker vessels for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and operational performance of 4–6 vessels.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards compliance.
• Oversee inspections, maintenance, and dry-docking schedules.
• Coordinate with departments for budget and resources.
• Develop and implement technical guidelines and procedures.
• Engage with vendors and stakeholders; provide guidance to crews and shore teams.
