Job summary

Talent Trader Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain industrial automation software using C++, C#, and WPF. You will interface with hardware via Windows APIs and work with motion control and distributed I/O systems.

The role emphasizes high performance, robust memory management, multithreading, and collaboration with electrical and mechanical engineers to translate machine requirements into reliable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing industrial automation software using C++, C#, and WPF.
• Experience programming and integrating motion control cards and distributed I/O systems for industrial machinery.
• Strong knowledge of Windows API development, system-level programming, and advanced memory management techniques.
• Solid understanding of the C++ Standard Library (STL), with emphasis on templates and reusable components.
• Experience with Windows synchronization and communication objects, particularly events and mutexes, for multithreading apps.
• Knowledge of Windows GDI/GDI+ is advantageous.
• Experience with Borland/Embarcadero C++ Builder and VCL is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills; structured troubleshooting approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with software, electrical, and mechanical teams.
