Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing or testing software applications; integration with hardware is a plus.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, software design, and data structures; proficiency in C# and C++.
• Clear written and verbal communication; familiarity with UML is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Git or ClearCase, debugging or profiling tools is advantageous.
• Ability to analyze a system, debug, and work with a team; experience with automated test equipment or hardware is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development, continuous integration, and JIRA is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test system software for the IG-XL development environment supporting the UltraFLEX family.
• Contribute to software that supports digital and analog instruments across multiple operating systems.
• Help validate software compatibility with product computing hardware.
• Work from requirements and design guidance to implement features using C#, C++, .NET, and COM/ATL; create unit tests and support verification.
• Investigate and resolve routine software and computing issues; use debugging tools and collaborate with senior engineers.
• Work with software, driver, hardware, and other partner teams to clarify requirements, communicate progress, and integrate changes.
